A ride needs a name, a place and a time. Everything else is optional and you can add it later.
What you fill in
- Title and description — “Sunday breakfast run”, and whatever the pack needs to know.
- Meet point — drop it on the map, paste coordinates or paste a maps link.
- Date and time — this is also what the weather forecast uses.
- Route (optional) — design one, or pull one out of the route library.
- Road captain — whoever leads. If you do not pick one, it is you.
- Tail gunner — the rider watching the back.
- Pickup points — spots along the way where riders join the pack.
RSVPs
Everyone in the club sees the ride and answers going / maybe / no. The counts are right there on the ride card, so you know who is riding before you gear up.
Weather
The ride card shows the forecast for the meet point, at the meet time — not for your city, not for right now. It needs a connection to load, so it will be blank if you open the ride with no signal.
A ride can be a draft while you sort out the details, open once the club can RSVP, live while you are riding it, and done when it turns into a recap. You can also cancel or postpone it.
