PRIVACY POLICY

Pack is a private clubhouse app for motorcycle riding groups. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have. Short version: your data belongs to you and your club — we don't sell it, we don't run ads, and everything you share is visible only to your club unless you explicitly share it.

What we collect

• Account: email address and password (handled by Supabase Auth); display name and optional profile photo and phone number.
• Club content: messages, photos, posts, polls, bikes and maintenance logs, badges and other club activity you create. Visible only to approved members of your club.
• Location: precise GPS location while you participate in a live ride, including in the background so the pack map and safety features (tail gunner, SOS) keep working with your phone in your pocket. Android shows a persistent notification while tracking. Location tracking stops when the ride ends or you leave it. Ride tracks (route, distance, speed) are stored as part of your ride history.
• Emergency info (optional): blood type and emergency contact. Its content is only visible to club officers (road captain, VP, president) during an active ride.
• Moderation:if you report content, we store what you reported, the reason, your optional note and a copy of the reported item (so it can still be reviewed if the author deletes it). Reports are visible to your club's officers and to Pack's moderation queue; the reported person is never told who reported them. If you block a rider, that block is stored and is visible only to you — not to the blocked rider, not to your club officers.
• Terms acceptance: the date and app version at which you accepted these terms.
• Diagnostics: a local crash breadcrumb on your device to help debug failures. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

How we use it

To run the product: live group-ride tracking and safety alerts, club chat and culture features, ride history and stats, push notifications about your club's activity, and billing for optional subscriptions. Nothing else.

Who processes it

• Supabase — database, authentication and file storage.
• PowerSync — offline sync of your club data to your device.
• Stripe — subscription payments (we never see your card number).
• Expo — push notification delivery.
• Mapbox — maps and navigation (receives coordinates to render maps and routes).
• Our routing server (routing.motopack.app) — receives route coordinates to compute curvy routes.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with advertisers.

Retention & deletion

Your data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in the app: Settings → Delete my account. Deletion is permanent and removes your profile, bikes, messages, photos, subscriptions and ride participation. Club records you authored (e.g. rides the club rode) survive without your name attached. You can also email us to request deletion.

Your choices

• Location permission is required only to join live rides; you can decline and still use the clubhouse.
• Push notifications can be disabled in your device settings.
• Emergency info is optional and can be removed at any time.

Age

Pack is not directed to children under 16. Don't use Pack if you are under 16.

Pack es el clubhouse privado de tu grupo de rodada. Versión corta: tus datos son tuyos y de tu club — no los vendemos, no hay publicidad, y lo que compartís solo lo ve tu club.

Qué recolectamos

• Cuenta: email y contraseña (Supabase Auth); nombre, foto y teléfono opcionales.
• Contenido del club: mensajes, fotos, posts, motos, insignias — visible solo para miembros aprobados.
• Ubicación: GPS preciso durante una rodada en vivo, incluso en background (con notificación persistente en Android) para el mapa del pack y la seguridad (tail gunner, SOS). Se apaga al terminar la rodada. El track queda en tu historial.
• Info de emergencia (opcional): solo visible a oficiales durante rodada activa.
• Moderación: si reportás contenido guardamos qué reportaste, el motivo, tu nota y una copia de lo reportado (para que se pueda revisar aunque el autor lo borre). Lo ven los oficiales de tu club y la cola de moderación de Pack; al reportado nunca se le dice quién lo reportó. Si bloqueás a un rider, ese bloqueo solo lo ves vos — ni el bloqueado ni los oficiales del club.

Borrado

Podés eliminar tu cuenta desde la app: Ajustes → Eliminar mi cuenta. Es permanente. También por email: support@motopack.app.

Procesadores: Supabase, PowerSync, Stripe, Expo, Mapbox y nuestro servidor de rutas. No vendemos datos. Pack no es para menores de 16.
