PRIVACY POLICY

Pack is a private clubhouse app for motorcycle riding groups. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have. Short version: your data belongs to you and your club — we don't sell it, we don't run ads, and everything you share is visible only to your club unless you explicitly share it. The one exception is road hazard reports, which are shown to nearby riders in any club, without your name.

What we collect

• Account: email address and password (handled by Supabase Auth); display name and optional profile photo and phone number.
• Club content: messages, photos, voice notes, posts, polls, bikes and maintenance logs, badges and other club activity you create. Visible only to approved members of your club.
• Files you upload (optional): documents you attach to a bike in your garage (registration, insurance, service records) and any file you attach to a club message. We store the file as you sent it — we do not read, scan or analyse its contents, and it is never sent to any AI service. Visible only to approved members of your club.
• Location: precise GPS location while you participate in a live ride, including in the background so the pack map and safety features (tail gunner, SOS) keep working with your phone in your pocket. Android shows a persistent notification while tracking. Location tracking stops when the ride ends or you leave it. Ride tracks (route, distance, speed) are stored as part of your ride history.
• Emergency info (optional):blood type, emergency contact and insurance details. Your club's officers (road captain, VP, president) can see it at any time, and a copy is kept on their phones so they can read it on the road with no signal — that is what it is for. No other member of your club can see it, and you can remove it whenever you want.
• Moderation:if you report content, we store what you reported, the reason, your optional note and a copy of the reported item (so it can still be reviewed if the author deletes it). Reports are visible to your club's officers and to Pack's moderation queue; the reported person is never told who reported them. If you block a rider, that block is stored and is visible only to you — not to the blocked rider, not to your club officers.
• Road hazard reports: if you report police, an accident or a hazard, we store the type and the exact spot. Unlike the rest of your club content, these are visible to every Pack rider nearby, in any club — that is the point of a hazard warning. The app shows them without your name.
• Terms acceptance: the date and app version at which you accepted these terms.
• Club treasury (optional):if your club uses the treasury feature, we store fines issued to you — the amount and the reason — and the club's income and expense entries. This is visible only to your club.
• Diagnostics:when a ride ends, the app uploads a technical summary of how tracking performed — your phone's model, brand and OS version, plus counters about GPS, network and battery behaviour. It contains no message content and no names, and we use it only to debug why a ride failed to record. A crash breadcrumb is also kept locally on your device. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
• Installation identifier: your device also generates an installation identifier that we store alongside your account, so we can deliver push notifications to the right phone and diagnose delivery failures.

How we use it

To run the product: live group-ride tracking and safety alerts, club chat and culture features, ride history and stats, push notifications about your club's activity, and billing for optional subscriptions. Nothing else.

Who processes it

• Supabase — database, authentication and file storage.
• PowerSync — offline sync of your club data to your device.
• Stripe — subscription payments (we never see your card number).
• Expo — push notification delivery.
• Mapbox — maps and navigation. Receives the coordinates needed to draw maps and routes, the place names you type when searching for a location, and, when a ride ends, the recorded GPS track so it can be snapped to the roads.
• Our routing server (routing.motopack.app) — receives route coordinates to compute curvy routes.
• Open-Meteo — weather forecast for a ride (receives the meeting point coordinates).
• Resend — email delivery (ride recaps, SOS alerts, support).
• Google Firebase — Android push delivery (generates its own installation identifier).
• OpenRouter— only if you generate an AI ride story. It receives the riders' first names, the meeting point name and the ride date, and forwards them to the model provider. No AI story, no data sent.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with advertisers.

Retention & deletion

Your data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in the app: Settings → Delete my account. Deletion is permanent and removes your profile, bikes, messages, photos and ride participation. Club records you authored (e.g. rides the club rode) survive without your name attached. You can also email us to request deletion.

Subscriptions: when you delete your account in the app, your Rider Premium subscription, and the plan of any club that is deleted along with your account, are cancelled at once. A club plan you pay for that the club keeps runs to the end of the period you already paid, with no new charges, and then ends. If you ask us by email instead, we end your subscriptions in Stripe the same way — with no new charges — before we delete your account. Stripe keeps its records of past payments as our payment processor.

Club billing reference:a club's plan belongs to the club. While the club exists, Pack keeps its billing reference with it — the Stripe customer ID the plan is paid with and an internal ID of the account that pays for it — even after that person deletes their account. Like the rest of the club's plan details, it is visible to the club's approved members. It never includes card details.

Your choices

• Location permission is required only to join live rides; you can decline and still use the clubhouse.
• Push notifications can be disabled in your device settings.
• Emergency info is optional and can be removed at any time.

Age

Pack is not directed to children under 16. Don't use Pack if you are under 16.

Pack es el clubhouse privado de tu grupo de rodada. Versión corta: tus datos son tuyos y de tu club — no los vendemos, no hay publicidad, y lo que compartes solo lo ve tu club. La única excepción son los reportes de peligro en la ruta, que se les muestran a riders cercanos de cualquier club, sin tu nombre.

Qué recolectamos

• Cuenta: email y contraseña (Supabase Auth); nombre, foto y teléfono opcionales.
• Contenido del club: mensajes, fotos, notas de voz, posts, motos, insignias — visible solo para miembros aprobados.
• Archivos que subes (opcional): documentos que le adjuntes a una moto en tu garage (registración, seguro, service) y cualquier archivo que adjuntes a un mensaje del club. Guardamos el archivo tal como lo mandaste — no leemos, escaneamos ni analizamos su contenido, y nunca se manda a ningún servicio de IA. Visible solo para miembros aprobados.
• Ubicación: GPS preciso durante una rodada en vivo, incluso en background (con notificación persistente en Android) para el mapa del pack y la seguridad (tail gunner, SOS). Se apaga al terminar la rodada. El track queda en tu historial.
• Info de emergencia (opcional): tipo de sangre, contacto de emergencia y datos del seguro. Los oficiales de tu club (road captain, VP, presidente) la ven en cualquier momento, y queda una copia en sus teléfonos para poder leerla en carretera sin señal — para eso existe. Ningún otro miembro del club la ve, y puedes quitarla cuando quieras.
• Moderación: si reportas contenido guardamos qué reportaste, el motivo, tu nota y una copia de lo reportado (para que se pueda revisar aunque el autor lo borre). Lo ven los oficiales de tu club y la cola de moderación de Pack; al reportado nunca se le dice quién lo reportó. Si bloqueas a un rider, ese bloqueo solo lo ves tú — ni el bloqueado ni los oficiales del club.
• Reportes de peligro: si reportas policía, un accidente o un peligro, guardamos el tipo y el punto exacto. A diferencia del resto del contenido de tu club, estos los ve cualquier rider de Pack que esté cerca, de cualquier club — para eso sirve un aviso de peligro. La app los muestra sin tu nombre.
• Tesorería del club (opcional): si tu club usa la tesorería, guardamos las multas que se te aplican — el monto y el motivo — y los movimientos de ingreso y gasto del club. Sólo lo ve tu club.
• Diagnóstico: al terminar una rodada, la app sube un resumen técnico de cómo anduvo el tracking — modelo, marca y versión del sistema de tu teléfono, más contadores de GPS, red y batería. No lleva contenido de mensajes ni nombres, y sólo se usa para entender por qué una rodada no se grabó bien. No usamos analíticas ni publicidad de terceros.
• Identificador de instalación: tu teléfono genera un identificador de instalación que guardamos junto a tu cuenta, para poder entregarte las notificaciones en el aparato correcto y diagnosticar fallas de entrega.
• Aceptación de términos: la fecha y la versión de la app en que los aceptaste.

Borrado

Puedes eliminar tu cuenta desde la app: Ajustes → Eliminar mi cuenta. Es permanente. También por email: support@motopack.app.

Suscripciones: si eliminas tu cuenta desde la app, tu Rider Premium, y el plan de cualquier club que se borre junto con tu cuenta, se cancelan en el momento. Un plan de club que pagas y que el club conserva sigue hasta el final del período que ya pagaste, sin cobros nuevos, y después termina. Si en cambio nos pides el borrado por email, antes de borrar tu cuenta terminamos tus suscripciones en Stripe de la misma forma, también sin cobros nuevos. Stripe conserva el registro de los pagos ya hechos, como nuestro procesador de pagos.

Referencia de cobro del club: el plan de un club es del club. Mientras el club exista, Pack guarda con él su referencia de cobro — el ID de cliente de Stripe con el que se paga el plan y un ID interno de la cuenta que lo paga —, aunque esa persona elimine su cuenta. Como el resto de los datos del plan del club, la ven los miembros aprobados del club. Nunca incluye datos de tarjeta.

Procesadores: Supabase, PowerSync, Stripe, Expo, Mapbox (recibe las coordenadas para dibujar mapas y rutas, los nombres de lugar que escribes al buscar, y al terminar la rodada el trazo grabado para pegarlo a las calles), nuestro servidor de rutas, Open-Meteo (clima), Resend (emails), Google Firebase (push en Android) y OpenRouter — este último sólo si generas una crónica con IA, y recibe los nombres de pila de los riders, el nombre del punto de encuentro y la fecha. No vendemos datos. Pack no es para menores de 16.
