Status — what the vest says
- Hangaround — you're around.
- Prospect — you're being looked at.
- Patched — you're in.
Only a patched member wears their rank on the vest. Hangarounds and prospects carry a plain stitched patch until the club votes them in.
Ranks
Seven, each with its own thread colour: Member, Road Captain, VP, Secretary, Treasurer, Sergeant at Arms, President.
Who can do what
- President and VP manage members: approve who knocks, set ranks and status. The VP cannot touch the President.
- Road captain is set per ride — whoever is leading that day. The RC is the only one who changes the route: rerouting, adding and skipping stops. (Announcing a pit stop is open to everyone on the ride.)
- If nobody is named road captain, it is whoever created the ride.
⚠ PRESIDENT HANDOVER
The President cannot delete their account while the club still has other members. Hand the presidency to somebody else first (Club tab → member → rank), then delete. A club without a Prez is a club nobody can let anyone into. (A President who is the last one left can delete — the club goes with them.)
