Chat, the board, and “I'm not getting notifications”

Channels

A general channel, whatever topic channels the club creates, and one channel per ride so the noise from Sunday's run does not bury everything else. Officers can close or archive a channel.

What you can do in a message

• Photos and files.
• Reply, edit, delete, forward, star and pin.
• Reactions, @mentions and the typing indicator.
• Polls — ask the club and count the votes.
• Emoji, GIFs, and your club's own sticker packs.

The board and the wall

• The board — official announcements from the officers, plus the live poll, pinned right under the next ride.
• The wall — photos and captions from anybody in the club.

The bell

The bell icon at the top of the Club tab is your notification list inside the app: invites, rides, bells given, badges earned, someone knocking, an SOS, wall posts, announcements, polls. It has an unread count and a clear-all.

Push notifications aren't arriving

1. 1Check your phone lets Pack notify you: Settings → Apps → Pack → Notifications (Android) or Settings → Pack → Notifications (iPhone).
2. 2Open Pack once. Push registration happens on launch — after a reinstall, a new phone or a restored backup, your old registration is dead until you open the app.
3. 3Check the bell inside Pack. If the news is in the bell but never hit your lock screen, it is the phone-level permission, not the club.
