Two barrier islands and two causeways from Brunswick: the route crosses the Torras Causeway to the St. Simons lighthouse and Pier Village, comes back to US-17, climbs the Sidney Lanier Bridge, takes the causeway to Jekyll Island and its historic district, rides north to Driftwood Beach and returns along Beachview Drive. It's 47 miles. Jekyll Island charges every vehicle $10 a day ($15 on event days) and lists no motorcycle rate, so each bike pays. St. Simons and Jekyll are two of the barrier islands Georgia calls the Golden Isles. From Brunswick the route crosses the F.J. Torras Causeway to St. Simons and rides to Pier Village, where the lighthouse rebuilt in 1872 still keeps its original Fresnel lens and the keeper's house is a museum. The stretch to the lighthouse is a short out and back; the route leaves the island by Demere Road and recrosses the causeway to US-17, passing the Marshes of Glynn Overlook Park on the way.

From US-17 the route climbs the Sidney Lanier Bridge and takes the causeway to Jekyll Island, where the Jekyll Island Club, founded in 1886 as a hunting club, left a historic district of more than 30 buildings. The route rides north on Riverview Drive to Driftwood Beach, with parking at the roadside pull-offs, and back south on Beachview Drive. Jekyll charges every vehicle $10 a day ($15 on event days, rates in effect since July 2023) and lists no motorcycle rate, so each bike pays.
