Full-day version that starts in New York City: it adds the ride there and back to Upper Delaware · PA side. Here is what you'll find on the core stretch:

The other side of the river from Hawk's Nest: Hancock to Lackawaxen along the Pennsylvania bank, through Equinunk, Damascus, the Narrowsburg bridge and the Roebling Bridge at the end. Far less traffic than NY-97, rural roads and Delaware views where the road runs along the water; some stretches head inland. The roads are narrow with little shoulder, so keep an easy pace. It starts on the New York side, across the bridge at Hancock.
