Full-day version that starts in Allentown: it adds the ride there and back to River Road · PA-32. Here is what you'll find on the core stretch:

PA-32 hugs the Delaware and the canal from Washington Crossing to Easton, through stone villages like New Hope, Lumberville and Upper Black Eddy. It's narrow and quiet, with gentle bends under the trees: a good pick for a pack that wants scenery and coffee stops more than technical riding. Heads up: it closes often after floods and the northern half has potholes, so check conditions before you go. Keep it quiet through town, and expect New Hope to be packed on weekends.
